Logging into the Demo Environment

This guide walks you through accessing the NopeSight demo environment, setting up two-factor authentication, and personalizing your experience.

Step 1: Access the Login Page

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to my.nopesight.com
  2. You will see the NopeSight sign-in page
  3. Enter your Email Address and Password provided by your administrator
  4. Click Sign In

Step 2: Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

For first-time logins, you will be required to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to secure your account.

  1. A QR code will be displayed on screen
  2. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.)
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  4. Alternatively, you can manually enter the key shown below the QR code
  5. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
  6. Click Verify & Enable

Step 3: Save Your Backup Codes

After successfully enabling 2FA, you will receive a set of Backup Codes.

  1. These codes can be used to access your account if you lose access to your authenticator device
  2. Store these codes in a safe place - each code can only be used once
  3. Click Continue to Dashboard to proceed

Important

Make sure to save your backup codes securely. You will need them if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.

Step 4: Welcome to the Dashboard

After completing authentication, you will land on the main Dashboard.

The dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of your infrastructure:

  • Total Server Count - Number of discovered servers
  • Total Workstation Count - Number of discovered workstations
  • Total Software Instance Count - All software installations tracked
  • Total Hardware Count - Physical and virtual hardware assets
  • CI Types Distribution - Visual breakdown of configuration item types
  • CMDB Data Freshness Score - How up-to-date your discovery data is

Step 5: Customize Your Theme (Optional)

NopeSight offers multiple theme presets to personalize your experience.

  1. Click on Configuration in the left sidebar

  2. Select Theme from the submenu

  3. Choose from various theme presets:

    • Default Blue - Classic blue theme with clean aesthetics
    • Dark Purple - Modern dark theme with purple accents
    • Ocean Blue - Calm ocean-inspired blue tones
    • Forest Green - Natural green theme for a refreshing look
    • Sunset Orange - Warm sunset colors with orange and amber
    • Midnight - Deep dark theme with subtle blue accents
    • And many more...
  4. Click on any theme preset to apply it instantly
