Viewing CI Details
After locating a Configuration Item (CI) in the CI List, clicking on it will navigate you to the CI Details view. This page provides a comprehensive, 360-degree view of the asset, consolidating all known data, from general attributes to discovered relationships and audit history.
The CI Header
The header provides an at-a-glance summary of the CI's identity and state.

- CI Name and Type: The primary name and type of the CI are displayed prominently.
- Status: A chip indicates the current operational status (e.g., Active, Inactive, Maintenance).
- Edit CI: This button allows you to manually edit the attributes of the Configuration Item.
The Overview Tab
The default "Overview" tab contains the most critical information about the CI, organized into several cards.
Information Cards
Key details are grouped into categories for clarity.

- General Information: Includes fundamental attributes like the CI's name, type, status, location, and its parent CI if it's part of a larger system.
- Integration & Sync Status: Shows data related to external integrations and discovery. You can see the last scan date and manually trigger a sync if an integration is configured.
- System, Hardware, and Network Information: These cards display detailed data collected by the discovery scanner, such as OS version, CPU, memory, IP addresses, and MAC addresses.
CI Collections
Further down the Overview tab, you'll find tables listing related items and deep-discovery data associated with the CI.

This is where you can find detailed lists of:
- Installed Software
- Running Processes
- Network Adapters
- File Systems
- And other collected data points.
Other Tabs
Several other tabs are available to provide deeper insights into the CI:
- Relationships: A graphical visualization showing how this CI is connected to other CIs in the CMDB, such as applications, servers, and network devices.
- Change History: An audit log that displays a complete history of all changes made to the CI, including what was changed, who changed it, and when.
- AI Insights: This tab provides analysis and recommendations generated by the NopeSight AI engine, which can help identify potential issues, misconfigurations, or optimization opportunities.
